Student Spotlights

  • Luisa García Carvajal, Mexico

"I would like to work on a product for aiding caretakers: a comprehensive digital platform designed to support them in managing and providing care for their loved ones or in case they are health professionals, for their clients. The platform would offer a range of features to streamline caregiving tasks, improve communication, and enhance the overall caregiving experience."

  • Wardah Azhar, Pakistan

Wardah introduced a powerful idea called Pin-Point to help empower small business owners who are battling inflation and economic distress in developing economies. Her insight, "Usually they lack assets and do not get bank loans which leaves them relying on informal credit".

  • Mariam Schwartz, Canada

Mariam conducted human-centered design research around sustainability and fashion bringing forward an idea called BrandImage, "BrandImage provides real-time information on the ethical and environmental impact of brands as users shop online. The extension will scrape the web for data, use machine learning to generate a sustainability score, and display this information directly on e-commerce sites."

Learn from industry experts who believe everyone in the world should have access to a design education.
